Recording Update!

This week we'll be recording a couple more covers, and then we'll be doing originals exclusively. So far Sarah has written lyrics for 40 more tunes. I have a lot of work ahead of me writing and recording, but I hope it all sounds great in the end. Stay tuned for more...

Bio

Sarah started singing early in life, with a deep love of Rock, Blues, and Soul thanks to her mother Terry and her Nana Mary. Growing up she began to see any type of music or performance education that included dance, a xylophone solo, and acting classes. Her various styles include Rock, Soul, Jazz, Blues, Spiritual, Italian Arias, Showtunes, Country, Acappella, and Classical. Primarily a vocalist and songwriter, she is now in the process of learning the harmonica. Her personal mission is to get even more women involved in the Blues.

Chris started playing drums when he was about 3 years old. Once he got a kit of his own his father would set him up in the front room of the house, and have him play to everything from James Brown to Mitch Ryder and the Detroit Wheels. He always encouraged him to play AND sing, and was influenced by everyone from John Lennon to Van Morrison to Robert Johnson. In high school he was in different local Connecticut bands playing drums, and then he taught himself guitar so he could write songs of his own. He currently plays all the instruments on the recordings.

New covers and original tunes!

We've recently recorded some covers and originals, and put them up on our Soundclick and Facebook pages. These are our first songs as a "group". They feature me (Chris) on all instruments and Sarah on vocals and percussion.
